We had a great stay at the Granary International Hostel! the room was basic but spacious and nicely decorated. It served as a perfect base for us to get a good night's sleep. the location of the hostel is fantastic, with plenty of restaurants, shops, and tourist attractions just a short walk away. We felt safe walking in the area at night, even though the small Hutong street could be a bit dark. Cons: Can't fault anything about it! 😊.

The location of Granary International was fantastic, right within the west Hutongs and close to many attractions. The staff spoke proper English and were very helpful. The room was clean and comfortable, and the housekeeping ensured we had a pleasant stay. Despite the age of the hostel, the WiFi was good and the bathroom was adequate. I would highly recommend this hotel for its great location and accommodating staff.

The location of the hostel is great, with many tourist sites and subways within walking distance. there are cheap eating places nearby, especially the breakfast dumplings which are highly recommended. the staff, particularly the female staff, is helpful and tries their best to communicate in English.
Not all the staff members speak English fluently, and there have been instances where they have become frustrated and unhelpful.

I recently stayed at Granary International for a week during my visit to Beijing. The location couldn't have been better - within walking distance to key tourist attractions like the Forbidden City, Tiananmen Square, and BeiHai park. The nearby subway made it easy to explore other attractions. The surrounding streets had plenty of food vendors and shops, making it a breeze to find food options, even for my vegan friend. Our room on the first floor was surprisingly quiet, and the water pressure and temperature in the shower were excellent. The staff at the main desk spoke fluent English and were very accommodating.
Would recommend this hotel.

What an amazing stay! The location was beyond convenient, with two metro stations just steps away from the hostel. I couldn't believe how close we were to major attractions like the Forbidden City and Tiananmen Square. The staff were incredibly friendly and spoke perfect English, making our interactions a breeze. Our room was spotless and the bed was so comfy, I felt like I was sleeping on a cloud. I loved that we had a big bathroom with free toiletries that were restocked daily. And let's not forget about the mind-blowing Great Wall tour we booked through the hostel! It was a once-in-a-lifetime experience to hike in the remote ancient part of the wall without any crowds or shopping distractions. The icing on the cake was the free Wi-Fi, electric kettle, and flat-screen TV in our room. our stay was absolutely amazing and I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting this city.
